ICoD is pleased to announce the Member Event  2018 Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC) organised by Asia University. This year's theme is Breakthrough and Innovation.  Submissions accepted from 15 May - 16 July 2018

 ABOUT TISDC

Since 2003, the Ministry of Education of Taiwan has been utilising its existing educational and school resources for the nurturing of talented young people, especially in the areas of art and design. Through the promotion of the ''MOE's Program in Human Resource Development for Colleges of Art and Design, the ''MOE Scholarship Programs for Overseas Study in Art and Design'' and the ''MOE Award Incentive Program for Encouraging University/College Students to participate in International Art and Design Contests'', talented individuals have been given valuable opportunities to further develop their areas of exceptional interests and creativity.

From 2010, the Taiwan International Student Design Competition has been held after the Taiwan international Design Competition–the Student Section. It integrates the competitive edges of MOE art and design talent fostering programmes. By hosting international student design competitions, Taiwan International Design Competition-the Student Section, additionally encourages art and design students world-wide to participate in contests, which can utilise media and advertisements to promote Taiwan. The programme allows international judges or panelists and award winners to advertise the successes of Taiwan's art and design education programs.

The purpose of the award is to encourage international creative design exchange, develop creative design talents, express the international image of Taiwan attaching great importance to creative design, and establish the international design status of Taiwan.
