Adobe's career boot camps, Adobe Creative Residency Programme are part of the benefits and prizes of this year's competition. As with previous years, we will still be offering the to all students who have entered the competition. This is a unique opportunity for students to work with a seasoned professional who can help with either fine tuning their skills, working on their portfolio or giving career advice.
The final judging takes place in Las Vegas, we hope to see you there!

Categories and Segments
There are 3 main segments:

These are assessed using the following Judging Criteria:
1. Project originality and creative excellence.
2. Effectiveness in meeting a communication objective.
3. Demonstrating skills in applying Adobe products towards these ends.
Benefits and Prizes
For ADAA 2017 the main prizes are trips to Adobe MAX in October. Other benefits include career bootcamps and nominations to the Adobe Creative Residency program!

Who can enter?
The awards are open worldwide to students 18 years or older enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education at time of entry. Contestants may submit up to three entries, per different category, for a maximum total of 42 possible entries per contestant.?Submitted projects must have been created not earlier than May 1, 2017.
The work must be created primarily (50% or more) with the Adobe tools designated in each category and be accompanied by original digital files in Adobe software if requested.?Individuals residing in the following countries, states, and territories are excluded: Brazil, Northern Ireland, the Province of Quebec, and the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.?There is no entry fee.

March 6 - Competition opens for entries (Early Bird, Session 1)
May 6 - Closing of Early bird entries. Entry Session II commences
June 2 - Semi-Finalists from Early Bird Session 1 announced
June 12 - Closing of entries session II. Final submission deadline
July 21 - Semi-Finalists from Session II announced
August 11-12- Final judging in San Francisco
August 25 - Winners announced
October 16-20 - Finalists Ceremony at Adobe Max Las Vegas, Nevada
November 6 - Mentorship Programme begins

Launching Student careers since 2001, the Adobe Design Achievement Awards is a global digital media competition for student creators. Connected to industry professionals, academic leaders, and top brands, the ADAA aims to launch the next generation of student careers. Students could win recognition from the global creative community, Adobe software, mentorship, and more.
The Adobe Design Achievement Awards celebrate student achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts.
