ICoD is pleased to announce the Member Event the 4th International Conference on New Media (CONMEDIA 2017), organised by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) on 8-10 November 2017.  

The CONMEDIA 2017 conference will be organised by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) in partnership with IEEE Indonesia Section. All accepted and presented papers in CONMEDIA 2017 will be submitted in IEEE Xplore Digital Library, which will be indexed by SCOPUS.The conference itself will be held in Hotel Santika Premiere Jogja, Yogyakarta, Indonesia on 8-10 November 2017. 

 

About CONMEDIA 2017
The new media evolves and morphs continuously. We can only predict what will be tomorrow. We are responsible for the fast and furious ways of the new media evolution. Sharing knowledge and understanding through discussion in this conference will also affect the future of the new media. We proudly invite you, the academician, practitioner, industry and government to present your work, ideas, and practical experiences on the state of the art of New Media or attend this conference as participants.
 
The conference will feature prominent keynote speakers, company visit, poster and paper presentation in parallel tracks. The aim of CONMEDIA is seeking high quality submissions in the broad field of new media studies and also to enhance international academic exchanges on related topics and know the most up-to-date academic trends. 
 
The growth of creative industry in the future will still have a rapid growth and bring great impact to the economy of developing countries like Indonesia. One of these creative industry sectors includes the productivity of the interactive media design that involves the development of software, hardware and the Internet.
 
Digital Media itself is a concept that change paradigm of the rapid development of ICT. This has changed the face of world trade through the utilization of virtual relationships that allow business to transact without having to meet in person. In addition, Digital Media evolves with the growing trend of social media users from day to day, where social media users in Indonesia now reach 43 million users. It thus causes the user to actively interact with each other and ultimately social media has become a place to conduct economic transactions Online.
 
As one of the universities concerned with the development of ICT and interactive media design, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) since 2011 has had a follow-up on this issue by holding an international-scale regular meeting entitled International Conference on New Media (CONMEDIA).
