european design awards 2018

From 02.05.2025 to 16.02.2018 Competition
NorwayICoD is pleased to recommend the European Design Awards (ED Awards 2018) held in Oslo, Norway in early June organaised in partnership with ICoD Member Grafill. Deadline to submit: 16 February 2018. Enter the ED-Awards here.
The European Design Awards were organised for the first time in 2007. The ED-Awards wraps up with a festival in a different city every year, leading up to the awards ceremony. This creates an ideal opportunity for the most creative people of our community to come together, benchmark, be inspired and celebrate.
- To celebrate European design with all its regional distinctive elements as well as its common grounds.
- To facilitate European designers to meet, benchmark, be inspired and build networks.
- To promote and raise standards for communication design throughout Europe.
- To properly honour and award people who invest their passion in design.
- To create a directory of European communication design excellence, where design buyers from around the world will refer to in search of collaborators.
- All participants are asked to register on the awards' website and then fill in the relative form, upload images and videos and provide information which will give the jury a better understanding of each project. In roughly half of the categories they are also required to send in physical samples as well, since in these cases they are necessary to provide the jury with the full picture and thus better assess the submitted projects.
