european design awards 2019

From 10.01.2019 to 08.06.2019 Competition

Poland

ICoD is pleased to recommend the European Design Awards to be held in Warsaw (Poland) organised by Design Federation. Call for Submissions are now open. Submit here by 22 February 2019.

The European Design Awards were organised for the first time in 2007. Their distinctive characteristic is that their jury is made up of publishers, editors and critics who work in European communication design media.

The main objectives of the ED-Project are:

- To celebrate European design with all its regional distinctive elements as well as its common grounds.
- To facilitate European designers to meet, benchmark, be inspired and build networks.
- To promote and raise standards for communication design throughout Europe.
- To honour and award people who invest their passion in design
- To create a directory of European communication design excellence

All participants are asked to register on the awards' website and then fill in the relative form, upload images and videos and provide information which will give the jury a better understanding of each project. In roughly half of the categories they are also required to send in physical samples since, in some cases, these are necessary to properly assess candidates' work.
