Taiwan International Graphic Design Award 2019 (TIGDA)

ICoD is pleased to announce the Member Event Taiwan International Graphic Design Award 2019 (TIGDA) organised by the China Productivity Center.

The TIGDA Award aims to promote Commercial Design in Taiwan, to forge international networks, and to establish the Taiwan International Design Award brand. To recognise outstanding design, the Ministry of Economic Affairs hosts ‘Taiwan International Graphic Design Award’, a competition open to designers from all regions and countries. The awarded works will be exhibited and collected in the Tung-Fang Design University-Shigeo Fukuda Design Museum.

CATEGORIES

Entries are grouped into two main categories:

I. Taiwan International Poster Design Award
A. Specific Theme: Human Centered, Sustainable Development (Environmental Protection, Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction)

B. Non-specific Theme: Commerce, Arts and Public Welfare

II. Taiwan International CI Design Award
A. Corporate Identity: Brand, logo and other series of design application works for companies and institutions.
B. Event Identity: Logo and series of design application works for commercial campaigns/events.

DATES

Deadline to submit: 15 July 2019
The competition will be announced on the official website in October 2019.

PRIZES

I. Category of Both Awards:

A. Grand Prize (1 person): A Medal; invited to an exchange of topic in the host country.

B. ICoD Excellence Award (1 person): A Medal.
C. JAGDA Excellence Award (1 person): A Medal.
D. TPDA Award (1 person): A Medal.
E. GDA-ROC Award (1 person): A Medal.
F. TGDA Award (1 person): A Medal.
G. TADA Award (1 person): A Medal

II. The following are prizes for each categories:

Category of Taiwan International Poster Design Award
A. Specific topic and non-specific topic categories
- Gold Award (2 persons): Medal; invited to an exchange of topic in the host country (note).
- Silver Award (2 persons): Medal
- Bronze Award: (2 persons): Medal
- Youth Award: (2 persons): Medal (for participants under 35 years old and not receiving other medals)
- Judge Panel Special Award (each member of the judge panel will select one winner. Winners are selected outside the Gold/Silver/Bronze Medal winners): Medal

B. All award winners will receive an award certificate(in addition to the winners of the medal). Their works will be exhibited and collected in a special publication.

Category of Taiwan International CI Design Award:

A. Corporate identity and event identity categories
- Gold Award (2 persons): Medal; invited to an exchange of topic in the host country (note).
- Silver Award (2 persons): Medal
- Bronze Award: (2 persons): Medal
- Youth Award: (2 persons): Medal (for participants under 35 years old and not receiving other medals)
- Judge Panel Special Award (each members of the judge panel
selects one winner. Winners are selected outside the Gold/Silver/Bronze Award winners): Medal

B. All award winners will receive an award certificate (in addition to the winners of the medal). Their works will be exhibited and collected in a special publication.
