Participants will include representatives from the Icograda Executive Board, chief researchers from the participating regions, members of the Korean Advisory Board to the WDS 2010 Project and researchers who have significantly contributed to the WDS Project.

About the World Design Survey 2010

The World Design Survey™ 2010 project will collate data relevant to the design status for participating major countries and cities in an international context. The data will be compared to develop common indicators that will facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the design status in each region.

The WDS 2010 project will analyse and verify whether the common indicator model for measuring the magnitude, impact and characteristics of the unique design industries, education, culture and policies for each region is appropriate and logical. Furthermore, the design statistics and design policy related information will be compared among nations (or cities) to identify the differences. worlddesignsurvey.org
