APPLIED ARTS MAGAZINE JOINS ICOGRADA DESIGN MEDIA NETWORK

Brussels (Belgium) - Icograda welcomes Applied Arts Magazine, Canada's leading graphic arts publication, to the Icograda Design Media Network (IDMN). The publication targets creative professionals (graphic designers, art directors, photographers, illustrators and creative directors) who work in both traditional and digital media. Applied Arts Magazine represents one of several North American magazines who have joined the IDMN this year.
Applied Arts Magazine serves its readers in two ways: by covering the issues and challenges facing Canadian creative professionals, and by providing detailed, practical information and step-by-step breakdowns of how successful design and advertising projects came to be. The magazine is a progressive, practical resource for Canadian creative professionals. It is published six times a year, including two prestigious Awards Annuals - the Design & Advertising Annual published in January, and the Photography & Illustration Annual, published in September.

The Icograda Design Media Network (IDMN) brings the world's design media together in an online community - a single, convenient source at www.media.icograda.net. Formed by Icograda at the request of the international design media, the IDMN is dedicated to establishing and promoting standards and ethics in design journalism. It creates a forum for sharing ideas and information, fostering discourse among participants and with Icograda, and contributing to the furtherance of a meaningful body of knowledge regarding design and the role that design plays in modern society.
