Sydney (Australia) - Australian INfront was created in 1999 as a means for Australian on-line designers seeking like minded creatives to get together and form an Australian design community. INfront has become an amazing collaborative project space and launch pad to Australia's best on-line designers, artists and design companies and INfront's mission - to elevate the international perception of Australian design - still stands strong.
Attracting an average of 3,000+ unique visitors daily (and still climbing), Australian INfront has become the creative voice of young aspiring professionals throughout Australia.
Driven by a burning passion for Australia, design and art, the INfront founders refuse to accept anyone's rules but those they have tried, tested and accepted as their own. Rebels with a cause, INfront has over the past 2 years brought together a group of Australia's most promising designers under the banner of Australian INfront, providing like-minded individuals with a space devoted entirely to developing, inspiring and expressing creativity.
Australian INfront aims to give the international design community a better understanding of designers and life in general "down under." Run by creatives for creatives, INfront is about people getting out there, getting involved and doing something passionate. No money, no corporate deadlines or guidelines. It's about remembering just why people chose to become designers in the first place.
INfront inspires people to collaborate with each other through the participation and documentation of visual projects. An online discussion forum gives the design community a chance to actively voice their interests as well as allowing employees to submit job postings and monthly gatherings (currently across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) provide a public forum for the growing community of designers to meet and form relationships.
