The School of Media and Communication is at the forefront of media and communication education, research, and practice. Melbourne School Design (MSD), is the graduate school of the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at The University of Melbourne. Design Austria (DA) is Austria's only professional association and service organization representing the interests of designers from all the creative disciplines graphic design and illustration, product design, and web design.The association was founded as early as 1927 as Bund Osterreichischer Gebrauchsgraphiker (BOG). Outstanding artists' personalities, such as the illustrator Alfred Kubin, the typographer Rudolf von Larisch, and Joseph Binder, a pioneer of modern graphic design, numbered among its members. Today, renowned designers such as Stefan Sagmeister or Ferdinand A. Porsche continue this tradition.In 1992 the association opened up to embrace also other fields of design, apart from graphics. This was due to an increasingly interdisciplinary professional approach and because of the fact that individual creative processes are at the basis of all design activity. Today, DA  has some 1,300 members from all design disciplines, most of whom work as freelance designers.Service is one of the main concerns of Design . Besides the individual counselling of its members, basic information is on top of the list. Members are primarily informed through the association's own publications and periodicals, such as the calculation and competition guidelines, which assist both designers and clients or competition organizers. This mandate to inform goes hand in hand with an educational programme: Design  organizes seminars (client acquisition, creative techniques, calculation, copyright), lectures featuring international speakers, and excursions.Events are held regularly in  and abroad; besides comprehensive exhibitions meant to promote Austrian design and a variety of small-scale presentations, Design Austria has been the host of the designforum MQ together with the Austrian Design Foundation since late 2005. Design Austria organises international and national design competitions, such as the Joseph Binder Award, the Romulus Candea Prize, and the Adolf Loos National Design Prize.

The Bolivia BICeBé® Poster Biennial is the most important international design and visual arts event in Bolivia and the Southern Cone, integrating the Latin American region through the teaching of responsible design practice.
Each version, Bolivia opens an interchange experience for great masters and outstanding professionals from the national and international scope with an inclusive and equitable approach. It understands that innovation, knowledge and history are the most valuable points which allow us to generate an ideal setting for reflection and projection for new generations and continuing education.
BICeBé is also one of the most anticipated cultural events on the country's agenda and has been recognized on several occasions within the Cultural Industry Markets of the region. The biennial is the epicenter of design under the outlook of social responsibility management, development and generator of economic impact. That is why it has the participation of prominent academic, institutional and business spaces, that acknowledge the biennial as the ideal space to project their participation and establish a vision of development and awareness of the environment and communications. BICeBé allows everyone to be part of one of the main spaces for creative, academic and economic networking.

The Emily Carr University of Art + Design was founded in 1925 and is one of British Columbia’s oldest post-secondary institutions and one of the world's leading arts institutions.  Carr encourages and enables all students to achieve the highest intellectual and creative potential and to achieve beyond their expectations. They have created a culture which demands disciplined thinking, supports curiosity, challenges existing ideas and helps to generate new ones. - by establishing partnerships with organisations such as the Institut de Design de Montréal (IDM), the Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC), Icograda, as well as the colleges and universities where this discipline is taught;

- by organising or supervising contests which celebrate excellence and which publicize the successes of our members;

- by maintaining links with the media and the community.



To contribute to the advancement of graphic design:

- by clearly identifying the fields of intervention of the graphic designer;

- by developing the relationship between the client and designer;

The Department of Art & Design is a diverse and wide-ranging academic unit employing 18 full-time faculty, 18 full-time equivalent contract instructors, and 12 full-time continuing support staff across seven major disciplines, each with graduate program specializations. These include Design Studies (Industrial and Visual Communication Design), Fine Art Studies (Drawing & Intermedia, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture), and the History of Art, Design and Visual Culture. The Department offers BA, BDes, BFA, MA, MDes, MFA and PhD degrees. It also administers the Fine Arts Building (FAB) Gallery, a major exhibition facility, and is home to a University Centre of Research Excellence in Printmaking and an emerging Centre of Research Excellence in Design.

The Department attracts 4000 undergraduate registrations per year and, on average, it welcomes 35 to 40 graduate students, the majority of whom are international students. It includes advanced specialized labs and studios for rapid prototyping, photography, all media for printmaking, 3 design computer labs, a 125-seat lecture theatre, a Print Study Centre and a Visual Resource Centre. The annual research/project grants (2000-present) total, on average, CAD $300,000 per year. Falling under the College of Social Sciences & Humanities, the Faculty of Arts includes the Departments of Drama and Music as well as Art & Design, in addition to 12 other Departments with which the Department of Art & Design interacts collaboratively.

The University of Alberta, founded in 1908, is one of Canada's largest research universities, and is situated in the provincial capital, Edmonton, a metropolitan area of over 1,000,000 with a vibrant artistic community and an excellent standard of living. The campus is located adjacent to one of the largest municipal park systems in North America and is approximately 4 hours by car from the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

For DuocUC’s School of Design, DESIGN is interpreted as an essential element in each one of mankind’s activities, and as such is explored in all of its forms and manifestations, always in extremely close contact with both the national and international industry. This happens because of the conviction that it is a discipline which has as its main asset in the incorporation of added value throughout all of the production process. This is why it has always been a main concern to keep a strong, tight bond with the World’s biggest and most important design centers, by way of tight collaboration projects. With the latter, and going along with the institutional mission guidelines, as well as considering a scenario where Chile’s Design Industry stands a bit under developed, the school has proposed itself to widen its field of action within the market, incorporating the educational development both to corporate and strategic fields. Duoc UC offers professional degrees in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, Interior Design and associate degrees in Web Production, Graphic Design Technician, Industrial Clothing Production Technician, with study programs that consider the present and future of each discipline, with a technological environment that facilitates the knowledge learning and the development of abilities in the different design areas, maintaining a tight and constant contact with production and service companies, both national and international, in the same design areas as the ones featured in each program. DuocUC has a total of 79.803 students distributed across different headquarters within the Metropolitan, V and VIII regions. Of that number, 5401 students belong to the School of Design, comprised of 8 programs distributed across four sites within the Santiago Metropolitan Region (San Carlos de Apoquindo, Alameda, Plaza Oeste and Plaza Vespucio), one site in the Valparaiso Region (Vi?a del Mar) and one final site in the Biobio Region (San Andrés de Concepción). This School of Design is considered the most important in the country, holding 34% of the academic offer in the design area. Internationalization Since the beginning of the School of Design Duoc UC have established strong links with international institutions. Through participation in Associations, Conventions, Programs and Short Courses Internships and Exchange students may contact other community realities in the world. Since then, having an active participation in international networks (ICSID, Cumulus, DESIS, Design Factory Network) has allowed real contact with other institutions, project development and transfer of methodologies, experiences and know-how that nourishes the curriculum of our students.

The Beijing Design Week (BJDW)is an annual citywide cultural event co-hosted by Chinese ministry of culture and Beijing Municipal People’s Government. The event will last two weeks, and overlap the National Day Holiday(1st—7th October) of China every year. Attracting over 2,000 designers, institution representatives and industry experts, over 5 million visitors(person-time), and more than 100 accredited news media in attendance every year, BJDW has become the largest and most influential platform in Asia for display, promotion, exchange and trading of creative designs.

Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology is the first garment university in China. Currently, BIFT operates seven full-time undergraduate teaching colleges: School of Fashion, School of Fashion Accessory, School of Materials Design and Engineering, School of Art and Design, School of Fashion Communication, School of Business, School of Fine Arts. And other educational institutions include School of Arts and Sciences, Ideological and Political Theory Teaching Department, Graduate College, International College, Continuing Education College.

School Design and Arts of the (BIT), founded in 1984 as the Department of Industrial Design, is one of the design schools that first opened industrial design courses in China. As the culmination of 30 years of experience and exploration, the school has established its leading position in design education of the nation and been granted the membership of the Industrial Design Education Steering Committee of the Education Ministry of China. To meet the demand of rapidly developing economy for design talents in a broad spectrum of fields, five departments have been established since 2000, including the Department of Visual Communication Design, the Department of Environmental Art and Design, the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Department of Decorative Painting, and the Department of Traditional Art Crafts. In 2002, the school was officially founded, featuring a unique model of comprehensive development combining technology, design and art. To further the reform of teaching methods, draw on the most recent concepts and philosophies in design and art industries, and create vigorous academic atmosphere and more favorable teaching and research environment, the school officially adopted its current name in 2009. Meanwhile, the academic resources and teaching staff were integrated, optimized and augmented, so as to adapt to the future development of the school, and provide constant booster and solid foundation for successful careers of students.

CAFA School of Design is a national leader in design education in China, with established programs covering visual communication design, digital media art, public art and design, environmental art design, product design, fashion and accessories design, art and technology, design studies, as well as newly emerged programs of mobility innovation design, social design, design management, innovation design, system design, ecological crisis design (smart city) etc.. It takes as its mission, as an active response to global technological, economic and social changes and the future pattern and economic model of China, to cultivate top design talents with Chinese cultural stance and global awareness while serving China’s national strategy for design-driven development.

In the face of the evolving circumstances, industrial changes, crises and challenges in the new era and in response to the new needs, news changes, new stages and new characteristics of design education in China, CAFA School of Design has integrated the design discipline with other professional clusters such as modern information technology, and created new directions, new standards and new value judgments in the new propositions, new methods, new technologies and new means raised in the new engineering, new medical and new agricultural sciences. With research into the global political and economic changes in the post-pandemic era, CAFA School of Design works to build a new cross-disciplinary teaching structure and resources integration platform dominated by crisis awareness, in an attempt to focus on thinking and acting in the context of the future survival modes of mankind.

Hiiibrand International Creative Platform.  Hiiibrand is a platform that enables broad communications and interactions among creative, artistic and design talents across the world.  Since 2010, Hiiibrand has successfully hosted over 30 authentic and professional international competitions, and has attracted over 30,000 people from more than 100 countries and regions to participate, who come from various creative fields including identity, children’s books, illustration, typeface, product design and photography. It has also won support and endorsement from over 200 domestic and overseas professional agencies, organizations, institutions and media, such as ico-D, ATypI, etc. Hiiibrand also organizes high-standard competitions and cultural events on behalf of governments and corporations. To this day, we’ve organized more than 100 cultural communication activities in diversified forms, including exhibitions, lectures, workshops, sharing sessions, story-telling sessions and study tours, having an impact on more than 5 million people around the world.  Hiiibrand is committed to integrating global high-quality creative resources and creating a top creative platform through competition operations, exhibition planning, artist agency, design creation, and copyright licensing.

Jilin Animation Institute(JAI) was founded in June, 2000. It was admitted to be “Independent Undergraduate-level Private College” by Ministry of Education in China in 2008. At present, it has 14 branch schools: School of Animation Art, School of Animation Industry, School of Comics, School of Game, School of Design, School of Film, School of Film Technology, School of Creative Industry, School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of Civil Aviation Etc. The employment rate of graduates keeps over 90%.JAI has 5 national first-class undergraduate major construction points(animation ,digital media art and technology, visual communication design), 5 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction point.

Luxun Academy of Fine Arts grew out of Luxun Art College, which was founded in Yan’an in 1938 on the initiative of such late revolutionists as Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. <br /><br />The academy is not only a well-known institution, but also a center of art creation and academic studies. The number of the prize-winning works at the previous national art exhibitions always placed first. National Art Gallery of China, The Museum of Chinese History, and The Military Museum of China, have collected many works by the faculty members and the alumni. The academy has occupied the first place in the field of panorama in China, the works such as the Conquest of Jinzhou, Qingchuan River Battle, Laiwu Battle, the Conquest of Yuncheng, Chibi Battle and Jinan Battle are the display of the teachers’ artistic creativity.

Macau Design Centre (MDC) is the first platform to give Macau designers , design enterprises and design lovers the opportunity to exchange , promote , learn and cooperate. MDC has started operating on the 15th of November, 2014 . Formerly and old deserted factory at the Areia Preta, is the first innovative multi-functional building designed to promote Macau’s cultural creative industry.

Based on the origin of Chinese civilization" and the frontline of the digital economy. School of Design & Innovation is an innovative design teaching experimental area established by the China Academy of Art for future social development.

Shandong University of Art and Design has put first priority on art disciplines, at the same time placing importance on liberal and scientific disciplines as its two supporting wings, with the goal to foster "scientific spirit, humanistic accomplishment, artistic innovation, and technical skills". Shandong University of Art and Design includes schools listed below: School of Applied Design, School of Architecture and Landscape Design, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Continuing Education, School of Digital Art and Communication, School of Fine Arts, School of Fashion Design, School of Industrial Design, School of Modern Handicraft, and School of Visual Communication Design. SUAD has set up Chinese Folk Art Research Institute, Image Research Institute, Landscape Design Research Institute, Glass Research Institute, Furniture Research Institute, and etc. Most faculty members and even some administrative staffs are engrossed in their research projects, covering different areas related to art and design. And each school has partnership cooperation with different companies as their off-campus base, where students could practice what they have learned. SUAD vigorously expands its foreign exchange and cooperation with foreign universities and institutes, and has established friendly relationship with universities and colleges of art and design in America, Australia, Europe, Japan and Korea.

Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University inherits the Shanghai Art Spirit of Shanghai Fine Arts School founded by Liu Haisu in 1912, and in 1959 the Shanghai Municipal People's Government rebuilt the Shanghai Fine Arts College (undergraduate). It was merged into the newly established Shanghai University and named the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University In 1983. In December 2016, it was officially renamed as Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts (SAFA), Shanghai University. Prof. Zeng Chenggang, vice chair of the China Artists Association and president of the China Sculpture Institute is the current Dean of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. SAFA has 3 A-level doctoral programs (fine arts, design, art theory), 1 A-level master program (architecture), 2 professional master's degree programs (fine arts, art design), and 1 postdoctoral station (fine arts). SAFA has 17 undergraduate majors in Chinese painting, oil painting, print-making, sculpture, calligraphy, fine arts, art design, visual communication design, environmental design, art and technology, digital media art, architecture, urban and rural planning, art design, product design, arts and crafts, and art management., including 7 national first-class undergraduate major sites and 3 provincial first-class undergraduate major sites. SAFA consists of 8 teaching departments, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center Public Art Technology Experimental Teaching Center, and the Shanghai Public Art Collaborative Innovation Center, one of the first batches of municipal collaborative innovation centers. In recent years, SAFA faculties have been approved in many national, provincial, and ministerial projects such as the National Social Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Major Project, the National Art Fund, the National Art Fund Creation Funding Project, the Shanghai Philosophy Society Project, and the Shanghai Major Literary and Artistic Creation Funding Project. Undergraduate students have won 117 national awards and 36 international awards in professional or discipline competitions. Graduate students have won 103 national awards and 58 international awards in professional or discipline competitions, and doctoral students have published more than 100 high-level journal papers. The school closely focuses on the school ideology of "FOR PEOPLE, FOR ART, FOR LIFE, FOR CITY", with the vision of "holding up the banner of 'new Shanghai ethos', creatively inheriting the tradition of applying for education, innovatively developing Haipai (“Shanghai-style”) culture, and creatively improving Shanghai's humanities", and with the mission of "building the coordinates of international urban art in China and China", and striving to build a world-class art academy that matches this modern international metropolis with global influence.

Shenzhen Culture, Creativity & Design Association (SCCDA) is a social organization commissioned by Shenzhen municipal government to bridge and connect the local government with the cultural, creative and design industries.  

SCCDA serves to operate and brand the “City of Design” programme and is responsible for the promotion of "Shenzhen Design", the integration of the city's cultural and creative design resources and strengths, and the domestic and international communication and cooperation with fellow Creative Cities and professional design institutions at home and abroad.

SCCDA has played an important role in the organization of major design events in the city, including Shenzhen Design Week (SZDW), Shenzhen Global Design Award (SDA), Shenzhen Design Award for Young Talents (SDAY), Shenzhen-Hong Kong Design Twin-cities Exhibition among others. The association has contributed to the promotion of Shenzhen’s city image and the branding of “City of Design”.

The history of Design Academy at Fine Arts Institute (SFAI) has been traced back to 1939 when it was first founded. In 1982, it was among the first master's degree authorization centers in China.Especially in 2000, Design Academy’s design discipline was approved to become the key subject on the provincial level.In the year of 2015, the number of candidates who took entrance examinations for Design Academy reached at 100,000, the largest number of attendance who entered themselves for the arts colleges and universities in the world.Finally, there were more than 1,600 students admitted to the college, and the number of design major students counted on 70% of total. And 12 out of 21 incoming freshmen who got the scholarships from the college came from the Design Academy, making up a 57% proportion.Today, Design Academy boasts more than 1,500 students (including 1200 postgraduates and 350 graduates) and 80 plus teaching staff.Not only attracting many young and middle-aged State Outstanding Contribution Experts and international and domestic well-known experts and scholars (like the China National Exhibition of Fine Arts golden medal winners), it also has set up national specialties, national research and innovation platform for subjects and national experimental zone for personnel training model innovation Design Academy always adheres to the design construction with green and sustainable features, so as to adapt itself to have an irreplaceable advantage in the field of subject specialty group in southwest China. In recent years, with idea of "innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing"and based on western China, Design Academy headlined the China's sustainable development, envisioning itself to the Greater Western cultural inheritance, the urban and rural development as a whole and heavy equipment manufacturing in the Great Rear Area; focusing on construction of three major disciplinary directions (green and sustainable design, digital art and S&T integration and design history and theory ) and seven majors(such as environmental design, industrial design, visual communication design, digital media art, attires and costumes design, arts and crafts, art design and so on); and concentrating on the sustainable design research and innovation system construction under the chinese original context .

The Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University is the first higher education institute of arts and design in China, with The Central Academy of Arts & Design being its predecessor, was established in 1956 and merged into Tsinghua University in 1999.

The mission of the Academy has been twofold: serving the daily needs of the population, and contributing to the economic and cultural development of the country. Its notable achievements include design work for the “Top Ten Architectural Decorations”, the Beijing Olympics, and the celebration of the 70^th anniversary of the National Day (e.g. the two long red ribbons on Tian‘anmen Square, parade floats and ceremonial vehicles).

The Academy offer a range of BA, MA and PhD degree programs across the art and design. In addition to a basic teaching and research group, there are ten departments to cover textile and fashion design, ceramic design, visual communication design, environmental art design, industrial design, arts and crafts, information art & design, painting, sculpture, and art history.

The Academy has developed a comprehensive platform integrating teaching, research and academic publications. Its Laboratory for Arts & Design Education, a national experimental teaching demonstration center, consists of 29 labs. It publishes ZHUANGSHI, a core art journal in China.

Institute of Design and Sciences is located on the East Lake of Wuhan - at the Canglong Island, more precisely in the “Heart of the Dragon.”  The school covers an area of 753 MU, on which there are 250,000 square meters of actual building complexes. Many school installations have been constructed there, such as: an ensemble of learning laboratories, a library, an art gallery, the ceramic museum, a sports center, a stadium, dormitories, a large university restaurant, a supermarket, a medical service unit, security and administration facilities. There have also been dormitories installed fully equipped with air condition and hot water. The school benefits from an array of experimental teaching centers, such as: the food technology center, the fermentation engineering center, software engineering center, e-commerce, and the 3-D animation center. There are other practical centers as well, such as: a studio, a small theatre, a virtual studio, and the campus television station. The Department of Visual Communication Design of Xi'an Eurasian University cultivates highly qualified design talents with international vision, design thinking skills, and visual innovation capabilities, who can work in the field of visual communication design, including graphic design, layout design, illustration, motion graphics, UIUX, new media, information visualization, identity system, and branding & planning. Visual Communication Design is not only about solving problems through text, images, dissemination, and stylization, but also about using digital technology as a medium to present visual information and emotional transmission. Zhejiang Modern Intelligence and Manufacturing Promotion Center is a civil non-profit organization organized by China Academy of Art (CAA), registered in Civil Affairs Bureau of Zhejiang Province on February 5, 2016. It is established as an operational entity mainly for holding each session of Design Intelligence Award (DIA) with relevant activities including launch conference, evaluation processes, exhibitions and award ceremony, as well as providing services as research project, consultancy, social training, design conferences and exhibitions, information communication services, etc.

Zhuhai Macau Design Centre is founded by Macau Design Centre and Zhuhai Huafa Group with the sponsor and support of the Macau and Zhuhai Government., aims to expand the business market for local creative design industry , to integrate the creative design resources from domestic and overseas areas, to encourage the development of creative design industry of Macau and Zhuhai, in order to build a comprehensive service platform for the creative design industry for the both places.

In the year 2004, after several and constant gatherings of some of the directors of academic design Colombian programs, in which academic design discussion took place, it became evident that an organized body that represented and promoted the Design in Colombia as an academic discipline was needed.

Therefore this small group of members announced the intention of creating a design Colombian network. On the 18th of July, the first official meeting was called, 29 directors of legally established design programs sign the constitution of the “Asociación Colombiana Red Académica de Diseño / RAD” (Colombian Academic Design Network). During the meeting, the mission, the network activities, the rights and obligations of the members were agreed.

Since then, the Colombian academic network has been working under the main mission statement of represent and promote Design as an academic discipline, both in local and international realms, constituting ourselves as a network to construct academic quality through the encounter and the joint of our members.

The Universidad Autónoma de Occidente was founded on February 20, 1970 in the city of Santiago de Cali (Colombia) as an institution of higher education with an emphasis in the areas of accounting and engineering. Sixteen years later, the university expanded its academic offerings to include undergraduate programs in different areas of communication and environmental sciences. The Faculty of Social Communication was the manager of the program in its origins, nowadays it is attached to the Faculty of Humanities and Arts after an internal process of academic reform, which poses interesting challenges to the design for the immediate future.

This undergraduate program has a duration of 10 semesters (176 academic credits) and is under the direction of Dr. Mario Fernando Uribe; the program has four focuses: Expression, Animation, Motion Graphics and Digital Media. During the academic training, students have five theoretical and practical workshops focused on assertive communication about design. From the practical dimension, we work on editorial design, information design, typographic design, corporate identity and the graphic environment. We constantly invite experts such as Ezio Manzini, Carola Zurob, Jorge Frascara, Norberto Chavez, Anna Calvera, Miquel Mallol, Zalma Jalluf, Carlos Palleiro, Rubén Fontana, Antonio Pérez, Félix Beltrán, David Consuegra, Manuel Parga, Peter Mussfeldt, Norberto Chaves, Iván Cortés, Matías Vigliano, Yves Zimmermmann, Pablo Kunst, Stephen Kaplan, América Sánchez, Alejandro Magallanes, Giovanni Vannucchi and Enric Satué have given lectures and workshops to the student community. Additionally, it is a program accredited by the National Accreditation Council since 2010 and is one of the few with this certification in the country, it also belongs to the RAD (Academic Design Network) and the IIID (International Institute for Information Design).

The Croatian Designers Association (Hrvatsko dizajnersko društvo - HDD) is a non-government, non-profit, voluntary professional association founded at first as Society of Designers of Croatia in 1983. The mission is to promote the common professional and social interests of their members and the systematic creation of conditions to improve the professional practice in design.



Its goals include the development and affirmation, promotion and development of design in Croatia, as well as advocating the status and interests both of the profession and HDD's members.



HDD instigates the affirmation of meaning, impact and value of design in Croatia and works on the establishment of rules and regulations in professional practice. With their members, HDD encourages professional responsibility and constant education as well as creative and innovative ways of thinking within the practice of design. With this goal in mind, HDD organises exhibitions, lectures and encourages professional valorization of design works.



HDD is an active member of the international professional bodies Icograda (International Society of Graphic Design) and Icsid (International Society of Industrial Design).



Members of HDD work in the areas of graphic and product design, design for electronic media, typography, photography, illustration, fashion design, as well as design theory and education.

Centro Cultural Pablo de la Torriente Brau is an independent, non-profit organisation that creates programs and opportunities for dissemination and discussion related to memory, oral history, testimony, visual arts, the Cuban nueva trova, digital art, graphic design, inspired by historical and literary legacy of Pablo de la Torriente Brau and using new technologies of communication and artistic creation. Centro Pablo gathers a community of graphic designers who have participated in competitions, exhibitions, workshops for a decade. The Centre has organised the Salon de Arte Digital for 11 years, closely linked to the work of graphic designers. The Center has organised competitions and exhibitions on cultural issues related to their work programs, memory, Cuban nueva trova, digital art. The program has also developed Compartiendo sue?os / Sharing Dreams, which includes graphic designers from Cuba and the United States and has been shown in Cuba and US cities, Spain and Argentina.

Founded in North Cyprus in 2017, the Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) is a non-profit foundation university focused on Arts, Design, and Communication. During their time at our university, our students will develop their creativity through programs that follow an interdisciplinary approach to communication skills, traditional art, and an interdisciplinary approach to current modern art. The university comprises four Faculties; the Faculties of Arts, Design, Communication and Music and Performing Arts and Associate Degree of Interior Design.

About the Department

Graphic design education is at the intersection of communication, art, and design. Graphic design improves the aesthetic qualities with its artistic approach, and the need to establish proper communication as well. Our students first gain the ability to see and perceive through this artistic point of view. Then, throughout their education, they learn various methods and techniques to bring words, symbols, and images together to represent the visual expressions of thoughts and ideas and form new formats. The department trains designers who are in harmony with the dynamic nature of our age. They are also aesthetically and technically equipped with the ability to produce creative thinking and be confident and prepared for the contemporary requirements in areas such as product logos, envelopes, business cards, files, packaging designs, box designs, posters, interior designs, open-air adverts, flyers, catalogs, corporate identities, brand positioning, web design, photos, print pictures, and illustrations.

Education Opportunities

The curriculum is refreshed and modified according to the changes and developments in the current design sector. In the project courses, multidirectional preparation and multidisciplinary studies are provided for the design process of the students. There is also a jury system that contributes to the development of students through which the students express themselves and present their work to the members of the department and guest jury members. Throughout their education, graphic design students have plenty of opportunities to attend various design events which are arranged by the department such as design talks, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions. Students are also encouraged to study the local design and visual communication issues with an international-based design awareness.

The Department of Graphic Design aims to educate professionals with the skills of designing, implementing, sharing, and managing, with a learner and learning focus as well as visual, cultural, and aesthetic point of view; are based on benefit-value creation and questioning; are sensitive, creative, social, cultural and environmentally-sensitive and responsible. There is a large preference scale for the designers who graduate from our department. Businesses working online or that exist in any market sector require the services of graphic designers. Individuals graduating from the Department of Graphic Design can work in the design departments of advertising agencies, magazines and newspapers, design firms, and in the design teams of corporate firms. In addition, our graduates can work in the field of contemporary media taking on responsibility in different fields of art.

The Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design is proud to have some of the very talented and active faculty members, who have won numerous local and international awards and are well-respected in the field. Apart from their artistic sides, faculty members are also active researchers in their field of interest, who continuously participate conferences and publish in reputable journals. Being part of a productive department, students are regularly representing our department in respected competitions, where they have become winners of three top prizes in the last two years. The Department also includes the 'VACD Design Centre', which was formed to provide students with the opportunity to work on real-life projects. Each year, the Department is also the host of two international events, 'Grafica versus Grafica' and 'Transmedia', that gives the students the chance to meet and listen to the reputable personas in the field. Departmental Facilities The Department mainly uses the basic design workshops and computer labs structured for multimedia and graphic design, and are supported by animation/video design labs and photography studios. The program offers opportunities to the other departments of the faculty and the university, while using the faculty's television studios, audio studios, editing suites and video equipment. The program also helps students interact with other disciplines, mostly radio, film, TV, advertising, PR and journalism to familiarise them with the multidisciplinary structure of communications.

SBB/BBA is a professional organization of visual communication design (graphic design) associating the designers, artists and theoreticians in its creative section, and the representatives of adjoining professions, institutions, firms, and schools directly related to the graphic arts, organisers, executors, administrators of the exhibitions of visual communication and their graphic forms, as well as friends of graphic forms of visual communication in its organization section.



SBB/BBA is a member of the Union of the Visual Artists of the Czech Republic, and a member of the ICOGRADA (International Council of Graphic Design Associations).

The aim of the SBB/BBA is to propagate the graphic design as a modern artistic medium of contemporary visual communication and to promote its full-scale incorporation into the social life.

The College of Art, design, and audiovisual communication, also known in Spanish as “FADCOM” for the acronym of “Facultad de Arte, Diseño y Comunicación Audiovisual” is part of the eight colleges available in the academic offer of the ESPOL university. FADCOM currently has three undergraduate careers: Production for media communications, Graphic design, and Product design. These careers are the equivalent of: BFA in Film/video production, BFA in Communication Design, and Industrial design, according to the list of specializations for baccalaureate degrees in art and design described in the Basic competency index of NASAD. The baccalaureate degrees in Ecuador are named “licenciaturas” and given the extent of the competencies and learning outcomes that students acquire at the end of their careers, are equative to a bachelor’s in fine arts in the United States.

Mónica Herrera School of Communications and Design was founded in Santa Tecla, El Salvador in 1995. The School offers two Bachelor degrees: Strategic Desing and Integrated Marketing Communcations. The graphic design and media curriculum at    is based on teaching aesthetic and communicative skills in communication and design. There are Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Doctor of Arts programmes. Major studies started in 2002 and minor studies in 1996. In their Bachelor's and Master's theses, students practise research skills together with their design skills.

The Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists (Magyar Képzőművészek és Iparművészek Szövetsége – MKISZ) is a nationwide organization with specialist sections for fine arts, applied arts, design, restoration, and art history. For more than half a century, and since the political and economic changeover too, it has fostered the best traditions of its precursor organizations – the Fine Arts Society and the Applied Arts Society, both founded in the 19th century – in fostering links between art and society.

• Promoting the values of contemporary fine arts and applied arts through support for the creative work of members;
• Strengthening the role of art in society, as well as the protecting of artistic values, through representation of members’ professional interests.

Cindrebay School of Design is one of the well known names in the design education India. Established in the year 2006 now Cindrebay has over 13,000 strong alumni working in domestic as well as international design houses. Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) offers an excellent environment for academics, research and applications in the field of design.

The education Program at IDC is a unique mix of pedagogic experimentation with pragmatic design approach and blends hard-core problem solving with design research. KIIT School of Fashion Technology was established in 2009 to create professionals in Fashion Design and Textile Design of par caliber who would like to make a mark in the booming Fashion & Textile Manufacturing, & Fashion Retail Industries. The Jakarta Institute of The Arts (IKJ) - Faculty of Arts and Design is one of three faculty under Jakarta Institute of The Arts, a private higher education Institution of Arts facilitated and subsidized by Jakarta Special Region City Government. As one of the oldest faculty when Jakarta Institute of The Arts founded in 1970, Faculty of Arts and Design nowadays consist of five program: Visual Communication Design Program with three majoring: Graphic Design, Illustration and Multimedia; Interior Design Program; Product Design Program majoring in Fashion Design; Fine Arts Program and Craft Program. Listed as one of the 50 most prominent under graduate programs of year 2008 by the Indonesia Directorate General of Higher Education, Faculty of Arts and Design currently reside in three connected building from A to C and one art gallery, serving 400 students ranging from year one to the final year studies and graduating about 100 bachelor holder each year. Tarumanagara University (founded in 1959) is one among the big private universities in Jakarta. Indonesia. Besides Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, managara University has also seven other faculties, namely (1)Technical Enginering, (2) Economics and Business Management, (3) Medical, (4) Law, (5) Communication, (6) Information Technology, and (7) Psychology. The Faculty of Visual Arts and Design,Tarumanagara University, consists of two departments, namely (1) Visual Communication Design, and (2) Interior Design. Within the Visual Communication Department these are three majors with courses of specialization in (a) Graphic Design, (b) Multimedia Design, and (3) Advertising/ Marketing Communication Design. The history of the formation of IGDS (Iranian Graphic Designers Society) dates back to about 35 years ago, when graphic designers excitingly and willingly, tried to make a society of their own by gathering their professional colleagues together. This aim, however and in spite of long discussions, failed to be accomplished at that time.

Many years later that Iranian society had been subject to great changes in political, social and cultural constructions, we graphic designers, were also facing a new situation; different professional and organizational conditions and revisions.

It was only 5 years ago that Iranian graphic designers of different ages and generations managed to gather up in a meeting for the first time. It was then that conversations, discussions and criticisms began. After all, never before had there existed any chance for them to be with each other in a professional union. Thus, the primary core of having a professional society was formed in April 1998.

The Israel Community of Designers is a non-profit NGO representing Israel's professional designers. Currently, the organization includes sections representing designers in the fields of visual communications, industrial design, jewelry design and interactive media design. The objectives of the ICD are: to promote the understanding and value of design; promote understanding of the design process; promote excellence in design; improve the welfare of designers. The ICD is dedicated to bringing the message of professional design practicioners to the spheres of government, business, academia, media and the general public. The ICD also recognizes the need to create discussion within the professional design community to ensure its ability to define an agenda and upgrade itself. To achieve its objectives, the ICD: organizes exhibitions, lectures, catalogs and courses; represents the design community in public and government organs dealing with economic development, legislation affecting designers and SME promotion and representation. The ICD communicates through websites, facebook and an extensive email data base.

Since 1956, ADI, the Industrial Design Association of Italy, has been uniting designers, companies, researchers, teachers, critics, and journalists.

Its goal as a not-for-profit is to promote and help implement the most appropriate conditions for the design of goods and services, encouraging cultural debate, promotion through institutions, and the provision of services.

For ADI, design must be culturally aware, as it is a medium between the individual, society, and the means of production.

Established in 1978, Japan Graphic Design Association (JAGDA) is the only association for graphic designers in Japan with some 3,000 members today. It utilizes the power of graphic design to improve the quality of communication environment by carrying out a variety of activities: publishing yearbooks, textbooks, and other publications; holding exhibitions and seminars; contributing to community revitalization and governmental policies through design; and protection of copyrights in design.

JDP is Japan's only institution dedicated to comprehensive promotion of design. Truly comprehensive, this promotion encompasses the internationally recognized Good Design Award program—held for more than 60 years—and activities at Good Design Marunouchi and Tokyo Midtown Design Hub to share compelling design and explore its potential.

Musashino Art University is acknowledged as one of Japan's leading art and design universities. The school was founded as Teikoku Art School in 1929. The name changed to Musashino Art School in 1948. In 1962 it was renamed and reformed to Musashino Art University. There is a growing call for artists and designers with rich creative prowess who have the capacity to meet the challenges of economic globalization and rapid industrial advances, and thus require vast interdisciplinary knowledge ranging from global affairs such as environmental issues to art management along with the capacity to communicate in foreign languages. We aim to meet the increasing demands on advanced art and design education,which necessitates actively responding to the global changes we are now witnessing.

The Faculty of Arts and Design Started in its scientific career as a department of Fine Arts with two majors, graphic design and interior design, in the academic year 1992/1993 as one of the College of Sciences departments, and later affiliated to the Faculty of Arts, before becoming the first private college of Art and Design in Jordan, under the issue of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, No. 285, date 22/8/ 2007.

The college offers academic programs for bachelor's degree in the disciplines of graphic design, interior design, and there are plans for the development of new discipline such as Digital and Multimedia Design.

The Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) is the first national institution for higher education in Lebanon. Since its creation in 1944, ALBA stands out as a leader in the field of Fine Arts and Design in the Middle-East. In 1988, it joins the University of Balamand. ALBA has been a pioneer in implementing innovative study programs maintaining its curricula at the leading edge of progress; these include: Architecture, Fine Arts, Interior Architecture, Global Design, Graphic Design, Cinema and Television, Urban Planning, and Landscape Architecture. This variety of programs offers students a unique educational experience through a multidisciplinary teaching approach thus stimulating their creativity. Teaching at ALBA is undertaken by prominent local and international professionals and academics from various renowned institutions to which ALBA is connected to through several cooperation agreements which serve to promote students' mobility. Graphic Design Department at the American University was established in 1996. It is a three-year programme that includes a foundation year, where students are introduced to the design discipline as a whole; a junior year, where they engage in building their skills and knowledge in typography, packaging, publication, illustration, corporate identity, and digital screen-based design; and a senior year, where assignments take on specific areas of design selected by the students. Cutting across various topics, thoughts and ideologies translate into visual communication solutions in their final projects.



The graphic design programme has currently 350 students enrolled, under the supervision and guidance of 20 faculty members. Some of our students and faculty work has been featured lately in several international design magazines and publications, such as novum, Output, Communication Arts and Design Graphics.

The Graphic Design Syndicate is founded in 1976, reformed and restructured in 2010 to become the only official syndicate and professional forum for graphic designers in Lebanon, certified from the ministry of interior and remunerated from the Lebanese government. The syndicate is assessing the quality of graphic designers while at the same time establishing a better environment for them, by tapping into the professional interests of communication designers, creating a developed market, enhancing the design skills and backgrounds, design policies concerning governmental and public matters, and developing the creative climate.

The Lithuanian Design Association (LDA) is an independent non-profit organization formed by the cooperation of professional design creators. Founded in 1996, LDA advocates for the prestige of the designers' profession, stands for designers' interests in government institutions, promotes designers' creative activities, and coordinates the work of various organizations participating in the design process.

The Graphic Designers Association of Malaysia, is a non-profit, non-political organisation with the objective of encouraging professional practice and promoting design excellence in the art and science of visual communication in commerce, trade, industry and education, both locally and internationally.

INTI has established the INTI Center of Art and Design (ICAD) (2013) at INTI Subang campus that offers the full array of art and design programs along with the specialized facilities. Other than the physical facilities, ICAD has emphasized on regular curriculum revamping, where feedback from different stakeholders been collected to create the most robust and industry relevant curriculum. <p>The firsts studies of Design in Mexico started at the University Iberoamericana 50 years ago. The main goal of the Association of Polish Graphic Designers (Stowarzyszenie Twórców Grafiki Użytkowej; STGU) is to defend the creative independence of designers together with the rules and regulations of reliable, professional design and the prestige of the graphic designer profession. The Association was founded in 2004 and since this time we are promoting the idea of 'good design' and the need to invest in professional design as a practical tool to manage branding, corporate strategy and public space. We organise workshops, exhibitions (e.g. The history of Polish Graphic Design, Yearly STGU Exhibition), national and international graphic competitions. We bring together graphic designers and other visual authors in Poland and raise the level of visual culture in the society. We attempt to explain that high quality graphic design translates to success in commercial activities. We cooperate with public and private sector-commercial companies, government institutions, non-governmental sector, culture sector and education sector. We are the largest organisation of this type in Poland - we connect graphic designers and authorities.

The NTU School of Art Design and Media opened in 2004 and took the first cohort of students in 2005. The school was formed in line with the strategic goal of fostering a creative industry and creating a new design practice in Singapore.



The school curriculum is developed around interdisciplinary learning in Design and Media with majors in visual communication, product design, interactive media, digital film making, digital photography and imaging, emotive robotics and digital animation.

The African Institute of the Interior Design Professions (IID) is the only professional body representing the Design Industry in Africa. The IID is dedicated to establishing, promoting and maintaining expertise, professionalism, sound business practice and high standards throughout the industry.

Korea Crafts and Design Foundation(KCDF) as a promotional institution of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is carrying forward various businesses including research and publishing, education, exhibition and domestic/overseas cooperation to establish the policies and develop public design culture. We know well the value of crafts handed down for a long time along with our culture. In addition, the design of Korea is now being acknowledged to the world. At this time,if we strengthen the cultural value of our precious crafts and the public characteristics of design, our cultural competence shall be diversified and be able to cope with the world.

Korea Ensemble of Contemporary Design was established in 1969 and started anew in 2010 to improve the overall quality of visual design to provide a better understanding in contributing positive energy to the society. Furthermore, our organization pursues to become the leading generation of international convergence of visual design and make applications to cultural development. 

For the past years, Korea Ensemble of Contemporary Design has actively participated in studies and research of convergence in visual design as a Korea’s representative member of ICoD. Recently we are working with many local government organizations to fulfill the localism in visual design. We regularly organize the Seoul-Asia Graphic poster Triennale and DESPA business by hosting international design seminars at Asian universities and many interactive business seminars to maintain our role as a leading organization in Asian visual design market. We not only focus on revitalizing the Asian market, but also hosting United Designs International Design Biennale for non-Asian countries and through active communication with ICoD, UNESCO, and other international organizations. We are proactively practicing globalization. 

Our organization takes an influential part in bringing fruition to the design culture that is global, yet with Korean heritage by actively participating in localism and globalism. 

Innovative development of media and welcoming the era of global communication and the convergence of traditional studies and art, this paradigm in design is expanding every day. We, a leading organization of visual design in Korea, will continue to acknowledge the social responsibilities and the needs of individuals and contribute highly to develop the Korea’s design community.

The association organises Sweden’s pressional and graphic designers and has some 1200 members throughout the country. It was founded in 1955. The office is situated in Stockholm and has six employees working with administration, legal advice and communication. Tecknaren, our magazine for illustrators and graphic designers is published six times annually. Our members work within a broad spectrum of visual communication; illustrations and graphic design in newspapers, books and new media, websites, cartoons, animated films, news graphics, signs, trademarks, information and marketing. The association is first and foremost concerned with safeguarding the intellectual property rights of illustrators and graphic designers and one of the most important of these is copyright. It also concludes financial and social insurance agreements with a variety of parties who commission work or employ its members. The association safeguards freedom of expression and freedom of the press. It is affiliated to several other organisations that protect similar interests and rights of their members, and is a member of the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA). The association is involved in various forms of international cooperation. An example of this is Nordisk Visuell Kommunikation (Nordic Visual Communication), composed of sister organisations in the Nordic countries. It is also a member of the European Illustrators Forum (EIF), a network for European organisation for illustrators.

We are also committed to the promotion of young talent, which is why the further development of the graphic design profession «EFZ» (Certificate of proficiency) is of particular concern to us.

Established in 1955, the (CPC) was organised by fifty public and private commercial and industrial businesses. CPC has combined innovative concept elements and its own ample business management force to integrate marketing modules and mechanisms with consultation to help Taiwan's creative industry to grow, connect innovative products to the market, promote marketing and to substantiate new business opportunities and profitable operations.

Established in 1962, the Graphic Design Association of Taiwan (GDA-Taiwan) has the longest history among the associations of its kind in Taiwan. The goal of GDA-Taiwan is to integrate graphic designers to promote creativity and technique, and ultimately to enhance the quality of the design industry. GDA-Taiwan has organised many large-scale exhibitions, contests, as well as other numerous events, and produces various publications.

2020 is the founding year of the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), the TDRI plans to consolidate public resources from a wide range of government agencies with “the power of design,” promoting design as a central governance value and as a national defense strategy. The Institute is expected to guide the sustainable development of industries and society, which should in turn improve the living quality of the general public. It can assist the government in making national design policy and increasing governance efficiency. In addition, through an integrated interdisciplinary approach, the Institute will introduce design-based thinking into government administration, drive talent cultivation in the private sector, and build businesses that lead the design industry.

Faculty of Fine Arts was established in 2011. It aims to enable design students to be creative and visionary individuals. Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design aims at shaping the new generation of design professionals and industry leaders with critical thinking skills, enabling them to contribute to a sustainable community and environment through design-oriented research and innovative practices. A growing international network of institutions is being shaped with a strong focus on diversity, not only looking for different design approaches and teaching methodologies but also cultural and social diversity. Active in promoting new collaborations, the biggest effort is in maintaining long-term win-win situations. Several academic activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, technical trips, exhibitions are carried out by the faculty. Found under the Faculty of Architecture and Design in 2013, the Department of Communication Design aims to educate students on the principles, theories and the practice of communication design. The areas encompassed by the program consist of information architecture, interactive design for varying technological platforms, multi-media applications, new generation of communication technologies and tools, game design, digital publishing, and spatial communication practices. These subjects are supported by a variety of theoretical and practical courses, which include digital image making, typography, animation, video production, programming, innovation in communication design and, e-business and commerce systems. The goal of the department is to convey the necessary knowledge and the experience for developing problem solving methods with deliberate account of user behavior, and help students to develop designs that makes use of sound, image and text in order to create effective communication. The department intends to contribute to the field by educating experts and researchers in communication design discipline for diverse areas of study and practice through its flexible modular program that is developed according to the needs of the sector. In parallel to this purpose, the curriculum is not only shaped to give a strong background in communication design, but is also enriched by the modular program that offers tracks on game design, digital publishing and art direction, and interactive media design which will provide in-depth knowledge to students to advance in a personally focused field. The mutual support with other departments of the faculty also enhances our program by making it possible to meet with varying approaches, tendencies and strategies; thus, attain interdisciplinary knowledge. Our graduates will have improved skills in creative thinking, be able to produce multi-media objects in diverse technological platforms, have sufficient knowledge in design management and entrepreneurship, and most importantly have a “designer’s vision”. With a global understanding in design, we aim to educate our students to become resourceful and innovative designers as well as entrepreneurs in the field of communication design, who can take responsibility both in research and applied work, approach to the design discipline as a strategic process, collaborate with other fields, and go beyond to discover and create what doesn’t exist yet.

School of Communication 

In a world where environmental, social, political, religious, technological and professional issues and structures are changing kaleidoscopically, no area of cultural activity is more challenging than the field of communications. With traditional boundaries between disciplines dissolving, the ethos of this School, and of the College, is ideally equipped to enable students to follow a programme of pre-professional experimentation tailored to their individual needs and skills. 

The School of Communication at the RCA, led by Neville Brody, encourages – above all – a dynamic, cross-disciplinary approach to study and practice that is rooted in exploration and invention through the use of mixed studios and cross-electives. The broad spectrum of skills we embrace extends from making things to making thought, and carries us across an ever shifting landscape of intertwined activity that extends from print to film and time-based media; image-making and sound design to game play; and social enquiry and digital boundaries to physical installations. Teaching staff are all recognised practitioners in their own fields, bringing depth of experience to academic practice, and are joined by visiting professors and guest lecturers who act as informants or disruptors. School of Communication students work in collaboration with other designers and artists across the College in concentrated workshops and college-wide initiatives, and can draw directly from their expertise. Our active approach to exhibiting student work and to seeking creative projects through collaboration with our industry partners leads to constant opportunities for exposure and engagement. The San Diego chapter of AIGA, the professional organization for design, has been a dynamic contributor to the local creative community since 1987. The chapter is part of the national network founded in 1914 in New York City as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, which has since changed its name to “AIGA, the professional association for design” in 2005. HOW and Print magazines have cited AIGA San Diego as “one of the hottest communities for design in the nation.” Our local events provide educational, career enhancement and social opportunities for professional designers, educators, students and design enthusiasts in various fields including graphic design, UX design, photography, illustration, web development and more.

The Graphic Artists Guild promotes and protects the economic interests of its members. It is committed to improving conditions for all creators of graphic art and raising the standards for the entire industry.

The Guild is a union that embraces creators at all skill levels and expertise who produce graphic art intended for presentation as originals or reproductions.

The principal publication of the organisation is “Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines”.

GRAZI - the Graphics Association of Zimbabwe - was established in 1994 in recognition of the growing need to unite Zimbabwe’s graphic designers under one professional body and to represent, support and develop the Zimbabwean graphic design industry. Due to the dire economic situation in Zimbabwe GRAZI was forced to close in 2006.



GRAAZI - the Graphic Arts Association of Zimbabwe - has risen out of the mold of GRAZI like a phoenix out of the flames, new, fresh and more inclusive. GRAAZI was reinvented as an association at our inaugural meeting held on 28 February 2011.



GRAAZI recognises the important role graphic art plays in Zimbabwe’s economic development and the contribution good design makes to the community at large. Although the Association is primarily for graphic artists, provision has been made for professionals working close to the graphic arts business to be involved in the Association.

The first Graphic Design and New Media college in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Institute of Vigital Arts (ZIVA) is self-funded and depends 100% on school fees.



<H3>Mission</H3>ZIVA is committed first and foremost to providing a high quality Design education and teaching New Media skills. We are different from other training facilities in that we emphasise design. It is not enough to be proficient with the digital tools, because that is exactly all they are: tools. Whether one wants to study print or new media, an understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, communication, interface and information design is crucial, it is the foundation.



The two year full time programme in graphic design serves the following aims:

1. To provide the graphic design profession in Zimbabwe with suitably trained personnel.

2. To develop students problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

3. To enable, advise and assist students to develop their creative potential within the subject.

4. To develop skills appropriate to the realization of work in a visual form.

5. To develop communication skills both visual and verbal.
