GREEK GRAPHIC DESIGNERS ASSOCIATION JOINS ICOGRADA

Brussels (Belgium) - Icograda is pleased to welcome Greek Graphic Designers Association (GGDA) to its worldwide community of graphic design associations. GGDA is the national association for professional graphic designers in Greece. Founded in 1983, the association provides an advisory and arbitrating role for its members. GGDA is currently the only Icograda Member Association representing Greek designers.

GGDA informs its members of developments in the field of graphic design and coordinates the efforts of all graphic designers in order to facilitate the advancement of the graphic design profession in Greece. The association provides a forum for dialogue and exchange of ideas and information on issues relating to communication design. It offers advice and support in matters pertaining to fees, ethical practise, copyright etc. to members.

The principal vehicle of the association is the General Assembly, which decides on all matters pertaining to the advancement of the association's goals, as well as every issue submitted to it. The GGDA is ruled by a nine-member Executive Board, which is elected every two years.
