Montreal (Canada) - Icograda is pleased to announce that UCDA (University & College Designers Association) has joined its ranks as a full Professional Member.

UCDA is a professional association based in the United States dedicated to promoting excellence in visual communications for educational institutions. Their current membership is composed of professionals working for an educational institution or for a firm that produces work for an educational institution (working graphic designer or graphic design educator) and numbers 996 members (983 members, 13 student members).

Founded in 1971 by Lee Kline, Gene Church and Charles Deihl in response to what they perceived as a lack of professional development opportunities available for designers involved in the production of visual communications for educational institutions, the UCDA is now based in Tennessee.

The UCDA Annual Conference has become the single largest gathering of graphic designers producing work for educational institutions in the United States, consistently drawing approximately 250 attendees from throughout the United States and Canada.
