TEMASEK STUDENTS SHINE AT 2007 CROWBAR AWARDS

Design School returned from the 2007 Crowbar Awards on 18 August with a
bumper harvest of accolades. This year's competition was very stiff,
attracting 1 136 entries from 25 universities and schools - both local
and international.
Temasek clinched a GOLD for both the Advertising and Design breaking-in workshops. It was a grueling 3 day intensive workshop where students were given a live brief to execute their advertising and design solutions from top industry practitioners.
At the Awards Night, Temasek won a total of 4 Golds, 2 Silvers and 5 Bronzes in all the categories and topped the Best of Category Awards: IMD graduates Alex Kwa (IMD) and Syed Shameer (VSC) both won the BEST of Interactive and BEST of Design awards respectively.
Syed Shameer also won the coveted OVERALL BEST OF SHOW.

Launched in 2001, the Crowbar Awards highlight the best emerging talent in creative communications and design. Leading creative practitioners judge entries from across 6 categories - advertising, design, interactive, photography, film and the Crowbar Challenge.
