Chaumont (France) - The International Poster and Graphic Arts Festival Festival of Chaumont, France, in collaboration with the Secours Populaire Francais, invite students from around the world to enter the 12th 'Students, All to Chaumont!' Poster Competition. The theme for this year's competition is 'Everything human is our concern.' First prize is 1000 euros. Selected works will be published in an exhibition catalogue and showcased from 21 May to 26 June 2005 in the Icograda-endorsed 16th Chaumont Poster Festival.* Entry deadline is 11 March 2005.

The 'Students, All to Chaumont' poster competition-exhibition is aimed at graphic design students from art schools, universities, technical and vocational schools, may they be public or private, enrolled for the current year. The competition-exhibition celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Secours Populaire Francais's founding and acting in Paris by implementing the theme 'Everything human is our concern' - the slogan of the Secours Populaire Francais since 1945.

Each student may only submit one poster, and it is possible to submit a poster as a collective work. The posters entered will be part of the collection of the Silos - maison du livre et de l'affiche de Chaumont - and may be shown on various occasions. A selection of posters will be exhibited during the 16th Chaumont Poster Festival (21 May to 26 June 2005) and will be published and exhibition catalogue. A jury of professional graphic designers will award three diplomas as prizes. The first-prize winner will receive 1000 euros, and participants that take part in the exhibition will be granted 10 copies of the planned publication.
