La Habana (Cuba) - The international exhibition "Posters for Cultural Diversity" promises to be one of the highlights of Design/Culture: Icograda World Design Congress 2007 next month.

Alain Le Quernec (France), Andew Lewis (Canada), Felipe Taborda (Brasil), Ronald Shakespear (Argentina) and Uwe Loesch (Germany) are included in the more than one hundred designers from 31 countries who have contributed to the exhibition, which is supported by UNESCO's Office for Latin America and the Caribbean. It has been curated by Hector Villaverde, president of Prografica, Icograda's Member association in Cuba.

"Posters for Cultural Diversity" will be on display at La Habana's National Museum of Fine Arts during the Congress. Its opening will take place on the evening of 20 October as part of the Congress's official opening celebrations.

The Icograda World Design Congress will takes place from 20-26 October. The lineup includes keynotes by Jose Bruzzone (Chile), Paola Antonelli (Italy/USA) and Omar Gonzalez (Cuba). Thought leaders such as Wally Olins (United Kindom), Paula Scher (United States), Ahn Sang Soo (Korea) are included in the more than 40 speakers from over 20 countries who will present.
