BEIJING INDUSTRIAL DESIGN CENTER JOINS ICOGRADA

Montreal (Canada) - Icograda is pleased to welcome the Beijing Industrial Design Center as an associate Member. The Center joins 18 other associate Members in 14 countries. In total, Icograda's membership includes 197 members in 57 countries.

Founded in 1995, the Beijing Industrial Design Center is a design promotion institute engaged in implementing design promotion plans and propelling the development of the design innovation industry.

BIDC is the creator of the China Red Star Design Award, the only national design award encouraging independent innovation, developing branding and enhancing the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprise.

BIDC built the Beijing DRC Industrial Innovation Base (DRC) which is the first industrial design base in China. DRC contains a common technological platform of design and a professional incubator of design firms.

BIDC developed design education programs for Chinese undergraduate students majoring in design.
