Helsinki (Finland) - Design researchers and design research implementers from around the world are invited to share ideas and experiences with leading industry, innovation development and academic experts in a three-day International Conference on Design Research, Joining Forces, taking place from 22 > 24 September 2005 in Helsinki, Finland.

Hosted by the Media Centre Lume at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Joining Forces will feature Brigitte Borja de Mozota, John Heskett, Turkka Keinonen, Kun-Pyo Lee, Yrjo Neuvo and Craig M. Vogel as keynote speakers and will explore how design education, research and implementation propel local, national and international development.

Delegates to this conference are strongly encouraged to participate in the Era 05 World Design Congress in Copenhagen where the inter-disciplinary debate will continue.
