Seattle (United States) - Both student and professional delegates will have the opportunity to participate in sessions developed exclusively by Adobe as valued-added programming for Icograda Design Week in Seattle.

"We are pleased to be able to work with Adobe as a major event partners to bring our conference delegates an experience tailored to their interests," said Brenda Sanderson, Icograda Director. "These sessions will be highly interactive. Students will have a chance to go to the Adobe Seattle office and talk with senior Adobe team members about Adobe product design. Adobe will also host a Brownbag Lunch Technology Track for design professionals, who will have the opportunity to hear about the strategic direction of the new Adobe post Macromedia merger. Both of these sessions are great complements to an already full conference line-up."

All students who register for the Icograda Student workshop will have the opportunity to visit Adobe s Seattle campus for an in-depth look at how they design, build, and localize products, such as Adobe Creative Suite 2, for designers worldwide. Meet leading members of Adobe s engineering, product management, and product marketing teams to learn how they gather customer requirements, define quality, and manage release constraints. Get valuable product tips and learn fun facts about the evolution of desktop design over the last 25 years. Talk back to Adobe about what you need from your design software.

Ginna Baldassare, Sr. Product Manager for Adobe Creative Suite 2

Brown Bag Technology Track

Adobe will host a brown bag lunch for the professional designer to be held at the University of Washington. The session will be a strategic discussion around the merger of Macromedia and Adobe. Bring your lunch and join a discussion centered on the new Adobe and the integration of Macromedia s product line.
