THE TAMGA INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF TRADEMARKS AND LOGOTYPES - CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Novosibirsk (Russian Federation) - In its efforts to integrate Siberia's main business, cultural and design city (Novosibirsk) into the international design community and to attract the influx of state-of-the-art design ideas from other areas of the world, the Novosibirsk design community has announced the Tamga International Competition of Trademarks and Logotypes.
Terms and Conditions:
- All graphic designers as well as students are invited to participate.
- Student and professional competitions will be judged separately.
Cost:
- Participation is free of charge.
Terms of Participation:
- Registration deadline is September 10, 2005
- Submissions arriving after September 10 will not be accepted.
- Each participant is allowed to submit up to 3 works.
Technical Requirements:
- Each work is to be presented electronically in black and white.
- Accepted vector graphics: ai, cdr, fh
- Accepted bitmap graphics must be configured to A4 and be submitted in eps or tif format.
Other Requirements:
- Works submitted must have been created within the 2004-2005 time-frame.
- Works submitted to other contests or publishers will be allowed.
- Trade marks must be unregistered.
- Logos will be accepted.
- Jury members and their teams or family will not be allowed to participate.
The surnames of the designers selected to participate in the competition will be published on-line by the Selection Committee.
